Still available to post decades later... music / life's ebbs and flows

Music is still an insane trigger of memories of mine... Cleaning my music collection, so many of the songs I wrote about on this page, have brought back intense feelings. Yet I cannot remember exactly the source or directly who I was referring to! At least the music still brings me waves of emotion only weakened by my faulty memory. So just going to throw these feelings of gratitude onto the world wide web. Feeling old and nostalgic... What a trip life is... Guess I'll have to be spotify / youtube forever? Maybe can archive some here ha.

and guess who gave this song to me along with the song right before that... I had to check why I had somewhere over the rainbow... this song brought back a lot of memories and feelings, and I had never deciphered the lyrics before so I found out it was even more fitting...

I feel like that was the last time I was on track for serious love. No one has ever really had the same thoughts and taste. I think I could listen to her music and her voice anytime. I remember the first time I saw her too. I couldn't stop staring at her sigh

Can't believe the last time I posted was in october... jeez life flies by especially if you're working like crazy. I'm still in the office, animating and rendering a teaser video for the company that licenses the late great Bob Marley... bored of the limited songs on my ipod touch. That's why I had a 60gb ipod video before, I have eclectic tastes and music ADD. I jump from genres all the time. Some of my favorites thankfully are archived on this blog, so I might have to start updating again just so I have a backup of my favs.

Aite back to work...

I got my heavily taxed bonus check today and feel rather magnificent ha.

Just Music

There are a lot of things going on in my life, but these days after work and stuff, all I want to do is listen and relax to some good music. So here we go... First some recent and some not as recent hip hop songs. Then to the light tunes of the Weepies. They were first introduced to me with the song "The World Spins Madly On." It is a song that always brings back some memories / feelings of Lehigh... Anyway I saw Dirty Sexy Money this week, and although I hate how Lucy Liu is playing the stereotypical sexual Asian female, they ended the episode beautifully with the Weepies playing "Somebody Loved."
