I've been thinking about starting a blog for a long time. Its going to be random, and its going to updated in spurts. It will have details that I may regret sharing, and it may have posts with just a stream of thought. Altogether I hope to capture at least some of my "exclusive" thoughts/feelings/opinions. Thanks for reading.
I'll share these next few songs, heavy in my rotation, with everyone. It's a real shame I don't have anyone specific that comes to mind when I play these songs cause they're definitely for a special girl... "so many girls, so little time" ha
Definitely download Second Glance... Covergirl and The One definitely deserve a listen. Colby O'donis definitely has potential - I dk who Midwest City, but they sound pretty good... anyway enjoy
PLUS, I should append it to the entry I made about The Simpsons and the bittersweet symphony part, a sick mashup with the Verve and Jay-Z
ALSO I'M ALMOST DONE... a mix of excitement and anxiety - same feelings for trip to toronto too...
Usher - Moving Mountains Don't know if its the lyrics or the hit generating beats from the-dream but I can't stop listening to this song. This and the song Music for Love by Mario
Both of which I have uploaded and are sharing for download on my digital R&B Hip Hop mixtape on divshare.
I wasn't going to post today, but instead of working on my portfolio I decided to take a break and watch an episode of the Simpsons - still pretty strong and current after decades ha - I chose the episode "The 90's show" probably because life is flying by and can't really believe it, but the 2000's are almost over and the 90's is ancient history already. Crazy good episode, but I had the urge to post at the song "Bittersweet Symphony" at a touching moment when Homer rips the tentacle off the beanie baby and the filling spills out. BTW Hulu.com has a lot of full sponsored episodes (House, Simpsons, etc). Damn those sappy moments, they hit me hard. To be honest, the whole episode was touching - besides the political satire and outrageous yet on the spot mockery of the 90's there was the lesson that true love allows for mistakes, and allows for failings, as long as we sacrifice and express that love over the imperfections that each person undoubtedly has. A long and possibly flawed thought but I hope I got out what I'm thinking as I being to stress about my future... damn tinikling and ACS and damn all the school work and who could forget the emotional turmoil of searching for love or really acceptance...
Also in the mix on divshare, Heartbreaker by Will.I.Am - Awesome awesome song - rarely can I relate ha, well maybe not that rarely haha music truly can lift my spirits and motivate... though its hard to ignore the semi-sellout and diddy bitchassness that comes with it, Got Me Going by Day26 has a spot on my list.
